Condemn Conversion Therapy Practices for LGBTQ+ Individuals
Conversion therapy is a harmful and discredited practice aimed at changing an individual's sexual orientation or gender identity. It continues to cast a dark shadow over the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals. In the United Kingdom, there is growing momentum to ban trans conversion therapy due to its devastating effects on transgender and gender-diverse people. It is vital that the National Union of Students take a stand on behalf of its LGBTQ+ siblings and send a clear message that it is not in support of this cruel practice.
